Utilitarianism
2026
For our first collaboration with the Lausanne Socialist Party, we designed a campaign identity that shifts the gaze.
The city in the foreground
In a political landscape saturated with faces and postures, the campaign chooses to take a step back in order to better represent the city, showing it as alive, diverse, and in motion.
At the heart of the crowd
The candidates have been brought back to where everything happens: the city. Taking a high-angle view, we systematically place the candidates as residents among other Lausanne residents, anchoring them in a dynamic, urban landscape. Their faces thus become a grounding constant, their humility a driving force of trust.
A megaphone
The iconic red of the party is manifested in the form of large rectangles that structure the image. More than a simple element of the graphic design system, these shapes become the visual pillars of a campaign that boldly and loudly carries the demands of citizens and the party.

By anchoring the campaign in the city and portraying the politicians in an intentionally humble way, we transform the political image into a meeting space for a campaign that resembles not an election, but a conversation.
