Jordi Ruiz Cirera — Los Menonos

A long-term photographic project combining reportage and portraits to explore the relations and familial roles within the Mennonite communities in Bolivia, and their deep isolation from contemporary society. Jordi spend two months living with them in order to document the daily life in these secluded communities, who still live in the same way their ancestors did, without cars, telephones or electricity. Widely awarded and exhibited, the project was published as a book in 2014.
