Have you ever wondered how things are made? What lies behind those exceptional objects you already own, or one day hope to own? The Saga series is an exploration of timeless techniques and manufacturing know-how for the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet and the Royal Oak.

The interpretation of the Audemars Piguet’s "Seek Beyond" approach reveals the anatomy of their expertise in three parts: technique, aesthetics and ergonomics. The three parts communicate and intertwine. Saga introduces a world between contemplation and immersion where the whole transcends reality and creates the extraordinary.

The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet series is structured into three spaces, and the transition from one space to another is fluid, designed to reflect the complexity of its manufacture. This approach exposes the three dimensions of the manufacturing process. It begins with an overview, then isolates the singular elements of the manufacturing process in order to sublimate the know-how down to the smallest detail.

A reality oscillating between the tangible and the elusive takes us through three spaces. Fluid transitions from one space to the next create a harmonious dialogue between know-how and the extraordinary. Each of these spaces interacts symbiotically, responding to and complementing each other. Time and space themselves bend and distort, orchestrating a deconstruction and reconstruction of the extraordinary. The entirety of these three spaces makes it possible to break down crucial moments, revealing the priceless subtleties of know-how. In this symphony between the real and the imaginary, every movement and every transformation are key elements in a singular experience.

For the fiftieth anniversary of the Royal Oak, we set out to immerse ourselves in the world of watchmaking: the "Savoir-faire" series is a meticulous documentation of its manufacture. Like everyone outside the industry, we had no idea.

The whole project revolves around time. The time it takes to make an exceptional watch, and the time it takes to understand, capture and convey the impressive complexity, technical prowess and expertise of the master craftsmen in just a few minutes of film.

The aim of the two series is to forge both visual and tonal coherence. Adopting a holistic approach, the whole is more than just the sum of its parts. Each element is isolated and highlighted, contributing to an overall vision that transcends the simple sum of its parts. This meticulous approach aims to create an immersive experience in which each detail, carefully brought to the fore, fits harmoniously into the whole, giving unity to the visual and narrative whole.
