Don’t be fooled by the name; rather than confectionery, Chocolate Festival is all about sweet beats. An independent electronic music event held at the Pyramids of Vidy in Lausanne, its identity revamp blends vibrant textures with a structured yet fluid layout – a nod to the subtle balance between the festival’s underground roots and its now international headliners.
A free reinterpretation
We started from our own base, but this time let go of the brakes completely: more texture, more contrast, more playfulness. The idea? To explore to the limit what this identity could say, without compromise or constraint. A reinterpretation born of our desire to experiment, to play with codes while remaining faithful to the festival's DNA.
Approach
This identity condenses the energy and pace of electronic music through a contemporary, precise and punchy aesthetic. The visual direction blends vibrant textures with a structured yet fluid layout - a nod to the subtle balance between the festival's underground roots and its international headliners. The poster is more than just a promotional tool. It's an invitation to experience a sonic journey, a tribute to the power of design to tell a cultural story, and a celebration of the Swiss electronic scene in all its richness and intensity.
